EDUCATION FREEDOM TAX CREDIT
WHAT IS THE EDUCATION FREEDOM TAX CREDIT (EFTC)?
Starting January 1, 2027, a new federal tax credit will give taxpayers across the country an important opportunity to redirect their federal tax dollars toward educational scholarships.
Through the Education Freedom Tax Credit (EFTC), individuals can redirect up to $1,700 and married couples filing jointly up to $3,400 toward scholarships. Through our partnership with ACE Scholarships, donors can designate their contribution that directly benefits our students at Our Lady of Lourdes, helping expand access to authentic Catholic classical education.

Tax return submitted.
Credit reduced tax liability by amount contribution
Scholarships distributed to students
